Priscilla Kelly provides individualized counseling to meet the needs of troubled young people who are experiencing emotional, psychological, family, and social distress. I believe in a systems approach that involves the whole family in the healing process. I meet individually with the child or adolescent and also with the whole family to get a more complete understanding of the context of the problem. Parents often ask about confidentiality of the child. I am committed to protect confidentiality and also protect the integrity of the family. If something comes up that needs to be addressed with the parents it is usually done by the child in a family session. I am obligated to report suicidal or homicidal plans, and abuse. Here are some of the areas of concern in counseling children and adolescents and their families.
If your child or family is experiencing difficulties in any of these
areas, there is help available through counseling. I am a parent of two
grown children and have many life experiences that contribute to my ability
to understand and guide you through difficult situations.
