It is a choice! You can choose to help yourself. You can reduce a lot of the stress in your life. Yes, sometimes it is hard work, but making the needed changes are worth it.

Some really great places to start reducing stress include:

    • Taking a minute for yourself (to breathe, relax, visualize, etc.)
    • Organize your work to meet your physical needs (pace yourself)
    • Exercise (at lunch, before or after work, even at your desk)
    • Talk to friends (form a support group)
    • Have good personal boundaries
    • Use effective communication techniques- verbal and written
    • Change your perceptions (the way you think about the problems)
    • Hire a personal coach to help make necessary changes
